  • 19.7.7 At its meeting on April 5, 1977 the University's Board of Governors, in the process of budget considerations, will give consideration to the question of whether to raise tuition fees for students in the year 1977-78.
  • The tuition fee increase will seriously affect the ability of many students to complete their university education. Students have not had any increase in funds available. In fact the present economic situation has hurt them seriously. Financial aid has become more restrictive (especially the provincial grants).
