  • The committee developed a new series of policies and in June 1994, Senate approved these policies and established two new bodies involved in matters of misconduct, the University Board on Student Discipline and the Senate Committee on Disciplinary Appeals.
  • These four policies came into effect in September 1994.
  • The new policy has been in place for three and a half years, and it is appropriate to have a review to ensure they are working effectively.
