  • With regard to the inconsistency in the report concerning a particular group of students - 50% of whom had completed at least 30 credits with a particular GPA versus a later statement that indicated 71% of the group had graduated with a degree, Senate was informed that the last statement actually had a footnote that clarified that the population of students for these two statements were different.
  • A further statement in the report indicated that almost 40% of students admitted to SFU in the timeframe covered by the report went on academic probation within two years of their admission.
