  • The external reviewers were responding to the fact that the entire serial allocation for archaeology in 1998 ($12,000) was less than the individual subscription price for 11 journals in Chemistry and less than half the individual cost for four of these.
  • The library agreed that the Archaeology holding was inadequate for undergraduate and graduate programs and has provided some additional support in the form of six new journals (approximately $2500).
  • The Museum operating budget of approximately $5000.00 per annum also does not allow for the temporary hiring of a student to fill this need.
