  • S.05-42 1.0 SIMON FRASER UNIVERSITY Office of the Associate Vice President, Legal Affairs MEMORANDUM At your request, I have revised the Specially-Funded Appointments Policy, A 10.06 to do the following: (i) reduce the number of reference letters for junior chair appointments to 3 (ii) give a Dean the discretion to streamline the reappointment process for this category of academic appointment.
  • A copy of the amended policy is attached.
  • I recommend that the following motion be forwarded to Senate and the Board of Governors for approval: "That Academic Policy A 10.06 be amended as indicated effective 1 April, 2005" I concur and so recommend.
