The graduate program in the Department of Molecular Biology and
Biochemistry seeks to change the catalog number
of MBB 833 to MBB 702.
This change is to make the catalog number system consistent such that
"combined" courses are designated as 700-level courses in MBB. The
undergraduate course with which this course is combined is MBB 402. The
Minor Course Change form is attached, along with a memo from the Chair of
the MBB Graduate Studies Committee. This change has my approval.

Memorandum
To: Chair, Faculty Graduate Studies Committee,

Re: Graduate Course Minor Change
From:
Michel Leroux, Chair, MBB Graduate
Studies Committee
Date:
March 4, 2013
We are requesting a course minor change for the following:
To change the catalogue number from MBB 833 to MBB 702
Some MBB courses that were historically 800 level courses are now numbered as 700 level
courses. This course number should also change to reflect this. This change is made to show
a distinction between "combined" courses which are generally offered as both an
undergraduate and a graduate course at the same time (although the content, work and
marking may be different).
The undergraduate course number is MBB 402.
The Graduate Course Minor Change form is attached.
Sincerely,
AJUtu?.
