Rationale:
Enrollment for EDUC 452 is limited and thus will be reserved for students who have declared the Minor in
Environmental Education.
EDUC 479 is being added as an option for the PE students. Secondary teachers who have completed the
PE/Coaching degree at Douglas College have the equivalent of our EDUC 459-4 through SPSC 4291.
These students will have another teachable minor but it is also in their best interest to take EDUC 479-4 to
complement their previous coursework. Adding EDUC 479-4 as an option for this minor allows these
students to satisfy the requirements of this minor without taking additional coursework.
EDUC 481 is being added as an additional option for the French module students.
