    In January 2012, the Calendar Committee recommended Senate approve the Academic Dates for
    2012 to 2015. Included in these dates is an annual reading break scheduled in February.
    The principle adopted was that the four days of reading break would follow on the provincial
    statutory holiday "Family Day".
    The principle remains but the recently approved legislation has established this date as the
    second Monday in February.
    This requires a change in the approved schedule such that the reading break will also now be the
    second week in February. Please see the attached revised schedule with the correct dates.
    Motion:
    "That Senate approve the revised Schedule of Academic Dates 2012-2015.'
