    Description:
    The purpose of this course is to develop skills in the application of
    microcomputer technology in the school setting. The objectives are
    1)
    to develop skills in the operation of microcomputers;
    2) to identify the various modes of computer assisted instruction;
    3) to develop skills for coursework selection;
    4)
    to develop an introductory working knowledge of BASIC;
    5)
    to develop an introductory working knowledge of LOGO;
    6)
    to develop skills in the use of application programs such as word
    processing and file management.
    Coursebooks: Materials may be purchased for $10.00 at the first class.
    Prerequisites: Educ. 401/402 or equivalent.
