    The student will:
    1.
    Acquire an understanding of the theories and methodologies
    in the teaching of French as a second language.
    2.
    Study and practice aspects of current curriculum and methodology.
    3.
    Study and create situations for the application of second
    language skills.
    4.
    Acquire skills in evaluating second language teaching and learning.
    5.
    Form a statement of be1ifs regarding current practice.
    ACTIVITIES WILL INCLUDE:
    - discussion and questions periods
    - micro-teaching
    - small group tasks
    - readings
    - short written assignments
    - oral exposition
    - field trips
    - major theme and unit presentation
    THERE WILL NOT BE A FINAL EXAMINATION
