    Planning for learning; creating learning environments; developing teaching
    strategies and materials.
    Depending upon the experiences and requirements of the participants in this
    course, different degree of focus will be spent on the following four
    areas:
    I. Personality variables affecting teaching/learning styles
    2.
    The writing process
    3.
    The creative process
    4.
    Group processes

    REQUIREMENTS:
    Attendance, active participation, in and out of class creative writing,
    preparation of a brief

    ,
    but researched "issues paper" to be
    presented to the class in seminar fashion, and the development of cur.
    riculum for twenty hours of teaching in an English classroom. The last
    assignment is the major one and will be presented in two ways. First,
    as 20 minutes of actual teaching to the class, secondly, as a detailed
    outline (not specific lesson plans)
    ''to be handed into the instructor.
    In order to facilitate the students functioning as a group, one common
    project will be experienced. This may be taken on the format as a play,
    a film production, a book of writings, or any other format chosen by the
    class.
