    Ed.B 472-04 Designs For Learning: Secondary English

    The course will involve seminars, workshops and field activities in the develop-
    ment of Secondary English programs. A variety of teaching approaches will be
    explored:
    - working with large groups, small groups and individuals;
    - using such teaching strategies as inquiry, intensive study, discussions,
    role-playing, simulations, improvisations, and structured
    experiences;
    - combining experiences (theatre, cinema, gallery, wilderness, etc.) with
    ?
    study techniques and expressive activities.
    Finally, students will learn procedures for developing programs: diagnosis, obj-
    ectives, planning, implementation and evaluation.
