Students in this course will continue the investigations begun in Education
467, developing a personal theory of second language teaching and
learning based on reflection upon relevant theory and research topics to be
addressed include:
- first and second language acquisition
- errors and learning strategies
- cooperative techniques in language classrooms
- "whole language" methodologies
- bilingual education
