At the meeting of SCUS held on February 12, the above-mentioned course was on

the agenda for discussion under paper SCUS 80-1.

Question was raised by M. Wideen concerning overlap difficulties and the Committee

decided to postpone discussion in order that there can be further consideration

on overlap between the Faculty of Education and the Department of English to

resolve the concerns expressed.

M. Wideen further suggested that it might be necessary for the Faculty of

Education to. give consideration to some changes in the course description for

EDUC 465-4 children's Literature.

When this topic has been discussed with appropriate resolution, the course may

be returned through the Faculty of Arts Curriculum Committee to SCUS for

consideration.

A copy of SCUS 80-1 is attached for information.
