CHILDREN'S LITERATURE - SUMMER 1977
Instructor: Carol Cummings
A survey of major developments in Children's
Literature. The objective of the course is to provide
students with tools for selection and evaluation of books,
with particular focus on techniques for use of Children's
Literature in the classroom.
While studies will range through the entire body
of available Children's Literature, the emphasis in this
section of the course will be on materials relevant to
upper elementary and junior-senior secondary teachers.
