PREREQUISITE:
60 hours of credit.
COURSE DES CRIPTION:
Education 464-4 is a course for students who are interested in exploring issues and research
related to the education of young children. Although this course is open to all students with 60
hours of credit, a basic knowledge of child development is desirable.
OBJECTWES:
1.
To develop an understanding of the historical and philosophical underpinnings to the
theory and practice of Early Childhood Education.
2.
To examine current issues related to Early Childhood Education
3.
To examine current research related to Early Childhood Education
4.
To develop child observation skills and strategies.
GRADING PROCEDURE:
Final grades will be based on the following:
