General Objectives
Students will become familiar with the charactersitics of the learning of
young children in both school and non-school settings. Students will learn
to design instructional experiences for children in a variety of
instructional modes.

Examinations
Three one-week take-home examinations, at regular
intervals throughout the term, comprising 60% of the mark.
Term Paper Students will select a topic from a list of suggestions for
library research
and development into an academic paper of 15-20
pages, comprising 40% of the final mark.
