    General Objectives
    Students will become familiar with the characteristics of the learning, of young children
    in both school and non-school settings. Students will also learn to design instructional
    experiences for young children across a variety of instructional modes.

    Requirements
    Term Paper Students will select a topic from a list of suggestions for developnent
    into a discussion/argument of approximately 30 pages.
    Final Examination A one-week takehane examination, due at the last class meeting.
    Curriculum Development Project Students will work in small groups to develop a nodule
    of curriculum from a suggested list of objectives.
