COURSE DESCRIPTION
In this course students will use a variety of theoretical frameworks and practical considerations to understand
and evaluate the pedagogical uses of multimedia in relation to curriculum design. Students will work
collaboratively to design and produce a multimedia curriculum project for use within an educational setting.
EXPECTATIONS
Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes, to complete assigned readings and coursework prior to
class, to actively participate in group work and in-class activities, and to seriously engage with the themes
and issues related to the course, both in-class and online.
Regular access to a computer and the Internet is required to participate in this course. Online or out of class
activities may replace regular class time throughout the semester.

Educational Software Evaluation Paper 20%
Collaborative Curriculum Design Project: 40%
