DESCRIPTION

This course will support the BC Elementary Physical Education curriculum through teaching strategies

and content ranging from gymnastics and dance to adventure based learning and heart rate monitor use.

Through participating in physical activity, discussion and written assignments students will have the

opportunity to connect individually with their own beliefs of physical education of children.

Management strategies, developing quality in movement and planning an inclusive curriculum will be

covered.Current issues in physical education such as fitness and competition will be examined.
