Resource Sharing and Evaluation - In pairs you will select an EE resource to evaluate from those available.

You summarise / share this resource with the class (90 sec. report)

Evaluations posted to the website and due:

Community Mapping Exercise (handout) - Your group will plan and conduct a fieldtrip, in the local

community, detail the experience through interview notes, film drawings or other media then share the

experience during the "Community walk through" event.

Volunteer Project: reflection / sharing of your 'community based' voluntee xperience. You may wish to

include a piece on this experience as part of your nature journals, then share the experience via informal

presentations on the day.

EE in the Popular Press - Self-directed Study Paper (see separate handout). This written assignment will direct

you to write an informed opinion piece about a current EE issue.

Lesson Planning for Fieldtrips - After reflecting on and critiquing the fieldtrips in the course, you will develop

a lesson plan for a fieldtrip to one location you have visited.

-Draft due July 16th,

-Final copy to be posted/shared

Portfolio Assessment - On the last day of the course (during retreat), you will share artifacts, ideas, writings

and lessons using a portfolio of your own design, to demonstrate your learning and connections made between

EE and your developing practice.

- Final Presentation due at retreat on July 23rd
