Course Description
Education 426 is an introductory survey course to children and youth with
exceptionalities in Canadian classrooms. The course examines the cognitive,
social, and physical differences of children and youth with diverse
disabilities, such as communication disorders, intellectual differences,
behavioral problems, developmental disorders, etc. The focus of the course
is on intervention approaches used to accommodate and assist effectively
children with special needs in the classroom.
