    LECTURE OR LISTENING TO IT ON AUDIO TAPE
    This course is intended for senior education students or practising
    teachers who wish to explore the area of guidance and counselling and to
    develop counselling skills that can be used within the classroom setting.
    A combination of lectures, discussion, and small group work will be used
    to investigate topics such as: the role of the school counsellor, the
    classroom teacher as counsellor, developmental guidance, student appraisal,
    use of student records, effective communication skills.
