Education 424 Learning Disabilities
Summer session

Course content
This course deals with the assessment and remediation of learning
disabilities. Each student will be working with a learning-disabled stunt
daily (Tues, Weds, Thurs and Fri) for one hour daily (2 p.m. to 3
a designated school. Students are to indicate the choice of learning-disabled
students they want to work with, e.g. primary, intermediate or secondary. If
you are on campus, please sign up on my notice board outside my office your
choice of learning-disabled students).
Course objectives
(1)
That students demonstrate competence in assessing learning problems
in learning-disabled students
(2)
That student demonstrate competence in applying remedial principles
and measurement of the learning-disabled students' remedial progress.
