    (During the month of July students must attend
    one hour daily tutoring session (14 times per week)
    Monday - Thursday 9:00 - 10:00 or 10:00 - 11:00)
    OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE:
    1.
    To provide practical knowledge on assessment and remediation of academic
    learning disabilities.
    2.
    To teach monitoring of students' remedial progress on a daily basis.
    PRE-REQUISITE: Education 1422
    SPECIAL INFORMATION: Students in Dr. Wong's Education

    422 section are required to
    tutor a student with academic learning disabilities during the
    month of July. Tutoring hours are: one hour daily - four
    mornings a week (Tuesday - Friday). There will be 2 shifts:

    9:00 - 10:00 a.m.; (2)

    Tutoring
    takes place in a school off campus. This tutoring schedule
    is structured to enable Education 14214 students to see and
    understand the progress or lack of progress in the pupils
    they tutor under the supervision of Dr. Wong and her teaching
    assistant.
