    Description:
    Education 424 is a laboratory extension of Education 422.
    Assessment procedures as well as methods and programs for
    learning disabilities are reviewed. Practical experience
    in the development and implementation of a remedial program
    is required.
    The following major topics will be addressed:
    1.
    . data collection;
    2.
    selection, administration and evaluation of assessment tools;
    3.
    task analysis
    4.
    instructional programming;
    5.
    selection and evaluation of instructional materials;
    6.
    classroom management of children with learning disabilities.
    Specific arrangements regarding tutoring will be discussed at the first
    class meeting.
