    Lab practicum
    14 days per week, one hour per day,
    starting June 30th - July 31st, 9 a.m. - 10 a.m.,
    Mondays to Thursdays, at two schools.
    SPECIFIC INFORMATION:
    Pre-requisite: Education 1422
    Students' selection of learning-disabled children/adolescents:
    On the first day of class, you will be asked to state the arade level
    (e.g., primary, intermediate or secondary), and learning problem
    (reading or math or both) of the learning-disabled pupil you want to
    work with. So think carefully about your choice.
    COURSE OBJECTIVES
    At the end of the course, students will:
    (1)
    Demonstrate knowledge of various kinds of academic and
    non-academic learning problems.
    (2)
    Demonstrate critical knowledge of various remedial
    approaches.
    (3)
    Demonstrate competence in assessment of academic
    learning problems.
    (14) Demonstrate competence in planning a general remedial
    strategy for academic learning problems.
    GRADING:
    Students' final grade will be composed of:
