PREREQUISITE:
60 credit hours & EDUC 220 (corequisite).
Objectives:
Education 422 is a theory-based course that is complimentary to Education 424, the practical lab-based course on children
with learning disabilities. In Education 422, students will be introduced to the theoretical issues and foundations of the field of
learning disabilities. Issues that will be discussed include: the identification of children with learning disabilities, language
based learning disabilities (reading and writing), non-verbal learning disabilities, attention and memory, social learning
disabilities.
