This course provides a framework for understanding learning disabilities. It focuses on conceptual,
historical and research issues in the learning disabilities field. It is the prerequisite or corequisite to
Education 424 (Learning Disabilities Practicum).
Each chapter of the assigned text has its own accompanying sets of review and thinking questions.
Students should carefully work through these questions. They are for your own benefit and are not
to be handed in for marking.
Prerequisite: 60
credit hours. Corequisite: EDUC 220.
