    LEARNING DISABILITIES
    This course provides a framework for understanding learning disabilities. It
    focuses on conceptual, historical and theoretical issues in the learning disabilities
    field. It is the prerequisite to Education 424 (Learning Disabilities Practicum).
    The course is organized in the following manner. Each chapter of the
    assigned text has its own accompanying sets of review and thinking questions.
    Students should carefully work through these questions.
    In accordance to the focus of Education 422, students attend only to Sections I
    and III of the textbook. Section II is reserved for Education 424: Learning
    Disabilities Practicum.
    PREREQUISITE:
    60 credit hours and EDUC 220, or 401/402.
