    INTRODUCTION: This course teaches students what "Learning
    Disabilities" are about.
    COURSE OBJECTIVES: That students acquire
    1. conceptual understanding of learning disabilities.
    2. knowledge of characteristics of children and
    adolescents with learning disabilities
    3. methods of diagnosis and remediation of learning
    disabilities
    4. non-academic problems of learning disabilities
    5. that students learn about current problems and issues
    in the learning disabilities field
    A detailed course outline will be available in April in the
    relevant box next to the Education receptionist.
    GRADING: 50% mid-term exam
    50% final exam
