OUTLINE
This institute is intended for school district personnel: central board office, principals and vice-
principals and teachers who wish to understand the educational reforms under way in B.C. The
institute will combine formal lectures with invited speakers--in many cases, key players in the
reforms and their implementation. The lectures are open to the community at large; the graduate
seminar is available on a normal registration basis.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS

Attendance at 9 formal lectures, and 12 seminar sessions

Assigned readings
c)
Major analytic paper of a key issue affected by the reforms
