Planning for fall course activities

Thank you for your interest in the joint Maple Ridge/Coquitlam/SFU project. Your district has
indicated that you have been selected to participate, and we look forward to seeing you when
course activities begin on September 15. Here is some information to help you with fall planning.
University admissions
We are now processing applications for admission and re-admission from those who are not
current S.F.U. students. The Registrar's Office determines eligibility for admission to S.F.U.,
based on current entrance standards. You should receive a letter soon regarding your status. If
you are not eligible for admission, please contact 291-4417.
Course registration
Once you are admitted, you should receive a telephone registration package. Current students also
receive the registration package automatically. The package contains all the information needed for
course registration by touch-tone telephone. Please note the following:
a.
Before attempting to register by telephone, you must deposit a fee of $100 to your student
account at S.F.U. This can be done through a local bank using the form provided in the flyer.
b.

The facilitator team has met twice to discuss fall course activities. Large group sessions for all
participants have been scheduled on Tuesdays, 4:00 - 7:00 as follows:
