COURSE DESCRIPTION

An examination of classroom strategies for teaching children with behaviour disorders.

INSTRUCTOR PROFILE

Dr. Wiegerink is a professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He holds a joint appointment in

Educational Leadership and Special Education. Dr. Wiegerink previously taught at the George Peabody College for

Teachers and in the Oberlin Public School system in North Carolina. Dr. Wiegerink taught his first summer institute in

B.C. in 1992.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS

A written presentation of selected strategies and a group classroom demonstration.
