    COURSE DESCRIPTION
    In this course participants will learn to apply key strategies of instruction appropriate for gifted students, assess effective
    curriculum materials, and design appropriately differentiated activities.
    INSTRUCTOR PROFILE
    Joyce VanTassel-Baska is presently an Eminent Scholar in the School of Education at the college of William and Mary.
    She has been responsible there for initiating a graduate program in gifted education, developing a Centerfor Gifted
    Education, developing pre-collegiate programs and services and working with school districts to develop programs.
