THIS COURSE IS AVAILABLE TO CERTIFIED TEACHERS ONLY.
The purpose of this course will be to introduce students to the nature of
emotional disturbance and behavior disorders in children and the bases upon
which professionals make decisions about the education and treatment of these
children. The course will include information about approaches to teaching, the
nature of professional services, and ethical issues associated with providing
educational services. The course will focus primarily on severely disturbed
latency age children in educational settings. The following topics will be
