The final journal entry is to take the form of a short summative paper

    questions:
    1.
What are the educational challenges posed by the ideas
    presented in the lecture?

How have the lectures contributed to our understanding of
    children's thinking?

Graduate students will be expected to develop the final paper to a greater
length and to consider the following topics or themes: the relationship
of visual and auditory perception and artistic thinking and the accepted
and established view of perception and thinking. What is the nature of
    communication prompted by auditory perception?
Other topics of special interest to the student will be considered.
Selected course readings will be supplied throughout.
