This course provides an overview of current developments and issues in established and
emerging areas of education. Presentations, workshops, and seminars will be given by
Simon Fraser Faculty with overall supervision provided by an instructor. Students will
be expected to read papers prior to each session, participate in class discussions, and
complete two short and one long analytical essays.
This course is intended primarily for people entering an Extended Studies Diploma Program
but can also be used for degree completion.
