PREREQUISITE:
EDUC 401/402 or one of EDUC 100, 220, 230, 240.
DESCRIPTION
This course emphasizes worthy teaching with a focus on the student/teacher relationship. In this course
we will discuss educational models of classroom management that promote positive classroom
experiences. While exploring these models, you will be encouraged to reflect on your own experiences
and approaches to classroom management. Interacting with the material in course portfolios and group
activities you will have an opportunity to consider a developing personal philosophy within a variety of
educational issues.
