THE SOCIAL LIVES OF SCHOOL CHILDREN

This course provides students with an overview of theory, research, and practice concerning social and
emotional development and social interactions and relationships during the school years. Emphasis is on the
role of peer relationships in development and the role of school in promoting positive interactions among
students and between students and teachers.
