The University Act and Rules of Senate require that the Registrar report the results of

elections to Senate and the Board of Governors for information.

Faculty Election to Senate

A call for nominations to Senate went out on June 10,2011 for the following vacant

positions:

Faculty member from Environment elected

by Environment

Faculty member from Health Sciences elected by Health Sciences

Faculty member from Health Sciences elected by Joint Faculty

No nominations were received for these positions. Mehrdad Saifhas officially resigned

from his position

on Senate, so there is an additional vacancy for a faculty member from

any faculty elected by the joint faculty.

Another call for nominations will be issued during the Fall

2011 term to fill these four

vacancies.
