    Re.
    BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES COURSE CHANGES
At the time of the approval of the present calendar in Senate
some last minute changes were requested by the Biological Sciences
Department and incorporated. Senate, however, requested these
changes to be submitted to the Faculty of Science for their approval.
They have since been discussed in the Undergraduate Curriculum
Committee of the Faculty of Science, and the Faculty of Science
accepted the recommendations of its Undergraduate Curriculum
Committee on the Biological Sciences course changes by unanimous
    vote as
    follows:
Biology 202 changed from HumanGenetics to
    u

    .
Biology 402 changed from "Genetics" to Physio-.
    logical Genetics"
The description of Biology 402 changed to"Detailed
consideration of the structure and function of genetic
    elements"
    .
    -•
Final Senate approval of these changes is hereby requested.

    To: C.D. Nelson,
    From: Registrar
    Head, Bio-Sciences Department.
    10 April, 1967
At the April 3rd meeting of Senate the attached
paper from the Dean of Science was approved without amendment.
I have noticed, however, that the description of Biology 402
contained in the recomendation to Senate is at variance
    with
the description of Biology 402 contained in the 1967-68 Calendar.
As I read it there doesn't seem to be any significant difference
so I have no intention of pursuing the matter.
