The Arts Faculty at its meeting of June 27, 1966 approved the

following motion

"That the Senate of Simon Fraser University

recognize the valuable role of Teaching Assistants

and Associates and approve an amendment to the

library rules and regulations which would exempt

persons who teach with the ranks of Teaching

Assistant and Teaching Associate from the fine

schedules of the Library."
