The last Calendar made provision for a Congregation on May 21st,
1966. This provision was made in case there were sufficient
numbers of graduate students qualified to graduate by this time.
The Registrar informs me that there is one definite Master's
candidate and one indefinite.
In view of the small numbers of candidates, I recommend, therefore,
that there be no Congregation in May 1966, but that the candidate
or candidates be feted at a luncheon attended by the full Senate
and Board, and that the candidate or candidates be requested to
attend the Congregation in May 1967.
The candidate's transcripts will, of course, carry the notation
that all requirements for the degree have been met and that the
.
degree will, in fact, be conferred at the specified time.
P. D. McTaggart-Cowan.
