The accompanying proposals are submitted to Senate
for its consideration. Simon Fraser University has no specific
graduate dean, graduate school or graduate faculty, and it j
hoped that the functions normally included in a separate graduate
administration can be adequately performed by the committees
and sub-committee whose duties are outlined in the attached
proposals. If this assumption is correct, the University will be
able to evolve a successful graduate program without the creation
of new administrative superstructure.
