An overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 and a minimum C grade in LfNG 220 is required for
admission.
TO:
Admission Requirements:
- an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0
- completion of LING 220, 221. and 222 with a minimum OPA of 3.0 in those courses
- submission of
an application form, including brief research proposal
- approval
and signature of a Linguistics faculty member to supervise the honors essay
RATIONALE:

The admission requirements have been increased to insure that students are prepared to succeed
in the Honors Program and complete it in a timely manner.
