Senate received information about a change in process to be implemented by the Senate
Nominating Committee. The Senate Nominating Committee at its meeting of 4 April
2007 approved that when a Regular member quits, the Alternate will be asked whether or

objection to this change in process.

Al2.13 - Clinical Professors (For Information)
Senate was advised that the proposed policy was drafted in consultation with the Faculty
Association and, following presentation to Senate, would be forwarded to the Board of
Governors for approval. Brief discussion took place with respect to Sections 2.4 and 2.6
regarding advertising and duties associated with the position. Following discussion,
Senate received the draft policy for information.

Senate was advised that the policy had been reviewed by a special advisory committee to
the Board of Governors, and following presentation to Senate, the draft will be circulated
to the university community for comment. Senate received the policy for information
