SUBJECT: Senate Meeting - August 12, 1996

There were insufficient agenda items to warrant the scheduling of the meeting of

Senate on Monday, August 12, 1996 and therefore the meeting has been cancelled.

The next regular meeting of Senate is scheduled to take place on Monday, September

16, 1996 at 7:00 p.m.

Agenda items and papers for the September meeting will be required by the Secretary

of Senate by 4:30 p.m., Thursday, August 29, 1996. These items and papers will then

be considered by the Senate Committee on Agenda and Rules on Tuesday,

September 3, 1996 with Senate distribution on Friday, September 6, 1996.
