The next regular meeting of Senate will be held on Monday,

October 3, 1983 at 4:30 p.m. in Klaus Rieckhoff Hall.

It will consist of a Closed Session only.

Please note the variation in timing. On the recommendation of the

Senate Committee on Agenda and Rules as there were few items for an Open

Session, it was determined that there would not be an Open Session and the

items would be carried forward to the next regular meeting of Senate. It

was accepted as necessary that a Closed Session be held to consider graduating

students. The Session will commence sharply at 4:30 p.m. and it is not

expected to be long. Papers covering graduating students, not available in

time for distribution with this notice, will be available in the Senate

chambers by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, October 3, 1983.

There will not be provision for dinner.
