    1. Paper S.73-112 - Report to Senate - For Information

    The Chairman noted that the Report of the Senate Library Committee
    had been submitted for information. He also noted that determination of
    appropriate discussion and disposition of reports from Senate Committees
    was still under review by the Senate Committee on Agenda and Rules.
    was proposed that this paper be open for discussion for a period of up
    to 30 minutes as described on the covering sheet. D. Baird announced
    that the Board of Governors at its 'last meeting had approved an extension
    of two floors of the Library Building, and it had been indicated that the
    building would be completed for occupancy sometime in the latter part of
    1975. There was no further discussion.

    Senate Nominating Committee
    1. Paper S.73-113 - Senate Elections
    Inasmuch as Senator Kissner had submitted the name of J. H. Kitchen
    as a candidate for the position of Chairman of the Senate Committee on
    Scholarships, Awards and Bursaries prior to the deadline for receipt of
    additional nominations to those listed in Paper S.73-113, ballots were
    distributed for election by Senate.
    The undernoted are the complete results of Senate elections necessary
    to fill vacancies on a number of 'Senate Committees where terms of office
    have expired.
    SENATE LIBRARY COMMITTEE
    Two Senators at large to be elected for two years, and one Senator at large
    to be elected for one year, to replace P. L. Wagner, J. M. Munro and K. K.
    Nair. Terms of office are from October 1, 1973 to September 30, 1975 for
    two Senators, and from October 1, 1973 to September 30, 1974 for one Senator.
